Ray was the President/CEO of a small technology firm that served many of the top companies and government agencies around the world for 8 years. After a successful sale of the company, Ray stayed on to establish and lead a public sector division as President, responsible for all business operations for the federal, state, and local government sectors. As a President and CEO of a $20 million venture capital backed software company, Ray was responsible for all aspects of the business from strategy and product development, market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, customer relationships and sales and marketing. Earlier, Ray served for 6 years as head of field operations for the Zurich Insurance Group, where he led a staff of more than 500 people in 31 locations nationwide. Through his 30-year career, Ray has gained deep experience in operations, systems development, distributed applications and communications for several financial services organizations, both in the U.S. and internationally. Over the years, Ray has volunteered on various non-profit boards and currently serves as Chair of the Arc NCR Foundation Board of Directors.
